Thierry Schätti a.k.a Salir, Swiss born tattooer started his journey of tattooing during traveling through Mexico 2014.
Beginning of 2015 started his Apprenticeship in Zurich.
From 2018 started professionally tattooing in The Burning Eye Tattoo studio based in Zurich alongside great Tattooers, that helped him to evolve and grow every day.
Through those years he developed a big interest in the Traditional Tibetan Art. With respect to this spiritual Traditional, he translates it in to the tattoo. He also enjoys to tattoo Ornamental, Dotwork, Blackwork styles that he specialised through all those years of tattooing.
This Tattooer’s work is inspired by the decorative elements of Spiritual Ornamentals and Tibetan Traditional motifs.
What makes his work stand out from today’s vast amount of Black work and Dot work is his fine and precise execution as well as the high contrast in the fine details.
His work has become recognisable for its fresh point of view in Traditional, Tibetan and Ornamental tattooing.
